Michael Clark

Residency at the British Museum - February - March 2001.

Dancer/Choreographer Michael Clark had a month's residency at the British Museum - He researched the idea of gesture as conveyed in the hands of the ancient sculptures. He was particularly inspired by the colossal ancient Egyptian Stone arm and fist which went on to influence his dance performance/collaboration with Sarah Lucas, 'Mmm' at Saddlers Wells, London.
