This publication records more than three years’ collaboration between the Henry Moore Institute and The British Museum, which resulted in exhibitions on inscriptions, unidentified objects, masks and magic. It brings together in a more durable format the information leaflets originally produced to accompany the individual shows. The nature of the project necessitated a level of co-operation and integration over a protracted period of time that neither institution had previously experienced. That the exhibition proved both innovative and successful is testament to the commitment of staff in both organizations.
